Your RoleMain responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with experienced engineers and operational leaders at the cement manufacturing site
- Understanding operational components of plant testing
- Assessing and processing engineering checks
- Analyzing and interpreting results and data
- Working safely and understanding HSE requirements, conducting audits and hazard identification on site
- In the second year, working on new low carbon products supporting Net Zero Carbon targets
- Managing plant upgrades and modifications
- Reviewing and improving plant safety and driving environmental efficiencies
We are looking for:
- A tertiary qualification in Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or equivalent
- A proactive attitude with commitment to safety and the environment
- A drive for continuous improvement and achieving cost and efficiency gains
- A positive, inquiring, can-do, and curious nature
- Interest and proficiency in data analytics and visualisation is vital
- Flexibility to travel within state and interstate as required
- Exposure or interest in heavy manufacturing, minerals processing, mining, and construction
- Final year students or graduates within the last 18 months are eligible
- A structured learning pathway through the 2-year Graduate Program
- Mentorship from experienced engineers and operational leaders
