We are seeking an experienced designer to shape the future of defense technology. As a Lead Experience Designer, you will own the entire lifecycle of design for mission-critical features and end-to-end workflows, impacting real-world operations from strategic commanders to forward-deployed operators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to product and design strategy, driving decision-making with stakeholders.
  • Owning all aspects of design execution from discovery to implementation, including storytelling and stakeholder alignment.
  • Shaping end-to-end experiences for critical operator workflows, balancing short-term tactical bets with long-term strategic pursuits.
  • Maintaining a high bar for craft, driving novel experiences at the edge and evolving the underlying platform experience.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of industry experience, with a focus on visual & interaction design craft.
  • Able to clearly articulate the why, process, and impact of your work, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Australian Government Security Clearance required.
Prefereces
  • Facilitation skills for discovery workshops and user research sessions.
  • Opinionated about design operations and efficiency, with a demonstrated proactiveness in shaping team culture and mentorship.
