About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Care Director to join our team at Estia Health. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and support to our residents.

As a Care Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of our home, ensuring that our residents receive the highest level of care and support. You will work closely with our nursing team to develop and implement clinical care programs, manage budgets, and train and develop our staff.

We are looking for someone with a strong clinical background, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality care. If you have a real desire to make a difference in people's lives, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the clinical operations of our home, ensuring that our residents receive the highest level of care and support.
  • Develop and implement clinical care programs, working closely with our nursing team.
  • Manage budgets and resources, ensuring that we are delivering high-quality care within our means.
  • Train and develop our staff, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge they need to deliver exceptional care.
  • Work closely with our leadership team to develop and implement our care strategy.
Requirements
  • A strong clinical background, with qualifications as a registered nurse and current AHPRA registration.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a nursing management role, at ward level or above.
  • Experience in managing people and budgets, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality care.
  • A background in aged care, with a passion for delivering high-quality care to older adults.
