Clinical Director

The Paediatric Intensive Care Unit is seeking a Clinical Director to lead and manage the provision of medical services in accordance with the standards of the specialty and the ethics of the profession.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality clinical and non-clinical services to benefit patients of the hospital and a regional responsibility to critically ill children.
- Lead and manage the provision of medical services in accordance with the standards of the specialty and the ethics of the profession.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care and improve health outcomes.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient safety and quality of care.
- Manage and develop medical staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
The Hospital and Health Service is the public healthcare provider for over 250,000 people across a geographic area of 150,000km2. We operate 21 facilities, including 19 hospitals and health centres and two residential aged care homes. Our comprehensive range of services includes primary care in remote locations and highly specialised care.
Requirements- Candidate must hold the FACRMM (FACRRM) or FRACGP or be eligible for Specialist Registration with AHPRA.
- Fellowship of Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators (FRACMA).
- Registered with AHPRA and have at least 12 months recent experience as a Director of Medical Services.
- IMG's eligible for Competent Authority Pathway - UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, NZ.
