Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Operator to join our team in Thornton. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating machinery, producing goods, and ensuring the quality of all products.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety and a willingness to learn new skills. You will receive thorough training and support to develop your skills and knowledge, and there will be opportunities for career development within the business.

  • Safe Unloading of Goods: Ensure accurate receipt documentation and safely unload goods and materials.
  • Machinery Operation: Operate machinery, plant, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner, following company procedures.
  • Quality Control: Produce manufactured goods to specifications and conduct pre-start checks on plant, equipment, and machinery.
  • Loading and Packaging: Safely load vehicles and pack sales orders accurately and efficiently.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Physical Fitness: Be physically fit and able to operate machinery.
  • Safety Commitment: Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and the well-being of yourself and others.
  • Positive Attitude: Show a positive attitude and a willingness to learn new things.
  • Overhead Gantry Crane Experience: Have experience with overhead gantry cranes.
  • Driver's License: Hold a valid driver's license.
  • Steel Machine Experience: Have experience working with steel machines (desirable).
