Lead Sales Assistant Role

The Job Description

This role involves working closely with the store management team, leading a sales team, and providing valuable skills and experience for career progression. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as a proven track record of driving sales and achieving KPIs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure efficient sales operations, achieving optimal results in sales targets, KPIs, store presentation, visual merchandising, stock levels, wage control, and shrinkage.
  • Motivate your team to achieve optimal results in KPIs and added value targets across stores.
  • Closely monitor sales performance, acknowledging outstanding results and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Effectively manage wage costs, adhering to weekly targets and rostering standards.
  • Coach and mentor your team, maintaining high team morale and encouraging individual development through training and succession plans.
  • Ensure efficient OH&S management, adhering to state and national legislation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience as a full-time/senior casual sales assistant, key holder, supervisor, or 3IC.
  • Motivated and driven attitude.
  • Possession for leading and inspiring a team to succeed.
  • Proven track record in driving sales and meeting KPIs and targets.
  • Operational excellence and experience with stock control and visual merchandising.
