We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Coordinator to support one of the leading organizations in the industry. This position is crucial for ensuring adherence to procurement protocols, minimizing business risks, and maintaining governance standards. You will be instrumental in overseeing procurement activities, ensuring they comply with company policies, and enhancing the organization’s overall risk management framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compliance Management: Formulate, implement, and uphold procurement policies and procedures that are in line with industry standards and regulatory mandates.
  • Risk Assessment: Recognize potential business risks associated with procurement operations and devise strategies to alleviate these risks.
  • Governance Oversight: Ensure that all procurement operations conform to governance benchmarks, including ethical sourcing and supplier adherence.
  • Supplier Relations: Build and sustain strong partnerships with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and service agreements.
  • Market Research: Perform market analysis to remain updated on trends, pricing, and best practices in procurement.
  • Data Reporting: Precisely report and analyze procurement metrics, pinpointing opportunities for cost reduction and process enhancements.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders to grasp procurement requirements and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Qualifications:

  • A relevant degree in business management, procurement, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in procurement within the professional services sector.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, governance, and risk management.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts successfully.
  • Familiarity with procurement software and data management systems.
  • Analytical capabilities for interpreting procurement data and making informed decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
