Job Title: Fiscal Strategist

About the Role:

This vital government organization is seeking a highly skilled fiscal strategist for an immediate start on a 6-month contract. The ideal candidate will work closely with project managers, business leads, and finance teams to deliver critical financial insights and support for key IMT services, projects, and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and validate cost estimates and financial models for IMT services, including resources, MSPs, and software licenses.
  • Contribute to financial modelling for new projects and capabilities.
  • Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities and improving efficiency within IMT operations.
  • Support business case development through cost-benefit and ROI analysis.
  • Monitor budgets, forecast expenditures, and report on cost variances.
  • Collaborate with teams to optimise cost structures and resource allocation.
