Cardiac Care Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac team at Friendly Society Private Hospital. The successful candidate will have strong clinical skills to manage acutely unwell patients with a wide range of coronary issues.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver exceptional patient care, demonstrating a level of skill in clinical decision making and hands-on care-giving for a range of acute coronary and medical conditions.
- Apply clinical assessment procedures to evaluate medical health status and identify timely care intervention for best patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with clinical peers, Medical Officers, and other health professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Develop effective interpersonal and communication skills to enhance patient care and accuracy of clinical records.
- Comply with current policies and procedures to achieve best practice patient outcomes.
- Tertiary qualification and current registration with AHPRA.
- Demonstrated coronary care experience, including patient management with conditions such as acute Coronary Syndrome, Stemi/Non Stemi, Cardiac Arrhythmias, Heart Failure, Acute Pulmonary Oedema, Pulmonary Emboli, and management of patients pre and post Coronary Angiography and Cardiac Device implants.
- Relevant medical experience gained in an acute environment, demonstrating knowledge and skills transferrable to a role in a coronary unit.
- Ability to effectively communicate, share information, and work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary health team.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build trust, promote confidence, and satisfaction with patients, families, and support persons.

Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) Requirements:
