Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse

Mater Private Hospital Townsville is seeking a highly motivated and qualified Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Cath Lab team within our Perioperative Services Department. Key Responsibilities- Undertake Coronary Angiography, Percutaneous Coronary Intervention, Pacemakers, Embolisation, Percutaneous Vascular Intervention, and Cardiac Electrophysiology procedures in Scout, Scrub, and Monitor capacity.
- Deliver exceptional patient care, demonstrating a level of skill in clinical decision making and hands-on care.
- Implement strategies to ensure that quality and risk management are integrated into service provision.
- Maintain current knowledge and skills to ensure continued professional growth.
- Work with and support colleagues within a highly effective skilled team environment.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA.
- At least 2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse in a hospital setting with relevant Cath Lab or Cardiac experience.
- Relevant postgraduate qualifications will be highly regarded, although not essential.
- Proven clinical competency and the ability to maintain the highest standards of nursing care.
- Effective communication and clinical problem-solving skills to maximise patient care outcomes.
- Knowledge and commitment to continuous improvement of healthcare and nursing practice.
