Senior Agronomy Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled agronomist to join our Field Services Team in Coonamble.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist advice on agronomic practices, crop management and soil health. They will work closely with growers to establish cropping plans, develop and implement precision agriculture strategies and support key customer management.

  • Liaise with growers to establish effective cropping plans that support their production and service needs.
  • Develop and present agronomy strategies in conjunction with branch managers and senior agronomists.
  • Support key customer management by developing business plans for new and existing customers.
  • Communicate with suppliers and develop demonstration sites.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A tertiary qualification in science or a related field (e.g., Bachelor of Science/Agronomy).
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective interpersonal skills with a keen interest in agricultural production and technology.
  • Demonstrated business leadership skills.
