About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a visionary leader to spearhead strategic initiatives and financial acumen within our Technology department. The ideal candidate will drive business growth through pioneering investment and value creation.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing sustainable processes for Technology investment and value creation, ensuring targets are met and efficiency programs are realised.
  • Closely collaborating with Technology teams to develop robust business cases for strategic programs and projects, guaranteeing clarity on costs, benefits, and resource implications.
  • Leading comprehensive planning, analysis, and recommendations across Technology in partnership with Portfolio and Vendor Management teams.
  • Creating compelling narratives that highlight value and potential, paving the way for driver-based forecasting.
  • Partnering with Technology leaders to hold them accountable for targets, while offering alternative perspectives and support for favourable outcomes.
  • Liaising with Finance Business Partners to ensure alignment with corporate requirements.
  • Fostering a culture of efficiency, effectiveness improvement, and commercial value.
About You

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Strong leadership abilities, demonstrated through adept problem-solving, analytical thinking, and conceptual skills.
  • Proven experience from a strategic or commercial role.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to craft insightful analytical reports with contextual depth and scenario analysis.
  • Proficiency in influencing stakeholders of varying seniority levels and collaborating effectively to build and sustain relationships.
  • Experience in operating within a matrix leadership structure.
