**Meteorological Workshop Specialist**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Officer to manage the operation of our meteorological workshop. The workshop supports our existing fleet of observation equipment, including Radars, Automatic Weather Stations, data communications and associated equipment.
">The successful candidate will lead the development and implementation of processes that ensure systematic delivery of quality Level 3 workshop repair and overhaul services. This is a key position within our Operational Technology and Engineering (OTE) Section, which forms part of our Observing Systems and Operations (OSO) Program.
">Our OTE Section consists of a diverse team of specialists, engineers and technical officers responsible for developing and designing engineering and technological solutions. These solutions incorporate Level 3 maintenance support for various technologies, including Radars, rainfall stations, drifting buoys and satellites.
">The role requires specialist advice and leadership skills to drive process improvements and deliver high-quality outcomes. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing depot level repair of returned systems and overall operation of the workshop.

- Strong leadership and communication skills;
- Ability to develop and implement process improvements;
- Expertise in Level 3 maintenance support;
- Knowledge of Radar, Automatic Weather Station and data communications technology;
