Online Learning Experience Specialist

The Australian Bureau of Meteorology Training Centre delivers technical and professional training for meteorological observations and forecasting roles unique to meteorological agencies. The centre manages the National Meteorological Library, the enterprise Learning Management System (LMS), and funds strategic capability development priorities.

This role is part of a team in Broadmeadows, reporting to the Manager, Meteorologist Initial Training. The successful candidate will be a member of the e-Learning Community of Practice, contributing to integration with learning teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing high-quality online learning packages using Moodle Learning Management System
  • Collaborating with people to deliver online content under limited supervision

Requirements: High-level instructional design and online learning skills, experience with Moodle, well-developed communication skills, and passion for working with people.

Summary
