About the Role:
This is a senior leadership position within our organization, responsible for driving strategic government relations and public affairs initiatives that support our mission and goals.
- Develop and execute comprehensive government relations strategies to advance our organization's interests and objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, industry leaders, and regulatory bodies.
- Monitor and analyze the political and regulatory environment to identify opportunities and challenges for our organization.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to senior management and the executive team on government relations matters.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in government relations, public affairs, or a related field.
- Tertiary level qualifications in a relevant discipline, such as public relations, political science, communications, or a related field.
- Proven track record in developing and executing successful government relations strategies, including a strong network of government and associated relationships.
