Job Title:

Leading Specialist in Metabolic Health Psychology

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced psychologist to provide psychological services, including evidence-based assessments and interventions, for patients with complex medical conditions. The successful candidate will have significant experience in providing care in multidisciplinary teams and possess expertise in health psychology.

The ideal applicant will be able to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care and support consumers in making informed decisions about their health. They will also have excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.

About the Role:

  • Provide psychological services, including assessments and interventions, for patients with metabolic conditions.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care and achieve positive patient outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Contribute to the development of new policies and procedures that enhance patient care and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate degree in Health Psychology or Clinical Psychology.
  • Registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia.
  • Endorsement by the Psychology Board of Australia as a Health Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, or Clinical Neuropsychologist.
  • Significant experience working in complex medical environments.
