Clinical Trials Coordinator Role Overview
The Clinical Trials Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the conduct of clinical research and trials. This individual is responsible for ensuring the safe and ethical execution of these activities in accordance with relevant protocols, policies, and procedures.
Key responsibilities include coordinating patient visits, data collection, and liaising between key stakeholders. Effective communication and negotiation skills are essential for maintaining timely and appropriate written and verbal communication with all stakeholders.
- Job Description:
- Delivering high-quality patient care by adhering to clinical trial protocols and working closely with Principal Investigators, Sponsors, patients, and site staff.
- Ensure the safe and ethical conduct of clinical research and trials by coordinating patient visits and collecting relevant data in accordance with each protocol.
- Coordinate and support clinical trial research activities through effective collaboration and communication with stakeholders.
This position involves working closely with the Clinical Trials Unit and Research Manager, as well as other key stakeholders, including the Hospital finance teams and the National Clinical Trials Network.

- Ability to effectively manage and work within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proven ability to establish relationships, influence, and work in partnership with stakeholders and employees at all levels.
- Demonstrated high-level oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated high-level conceptual and analytical skills, with the capacity to show initiative.
