The role we have available is for a Procurement and Contract Management Specialist, with the right candidate joining our growing database of skilled professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Cost-Effective Procurement Strategies: Ensure timely delivery of goods and services by implementing procurement strategies that align with organisational goals and budgets.
  • Lead Tendering Processes: Prepare RFPs, evaluate bids, and select suppliers that meet business needs and compliance standards.
  • Negotiate Favourable Contracts: Manage supplier agreements, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Foster Key Supplier Relationships: Build strong, professional relationships with key suppliers, ensuring effective communication and timely resolution of issues.
  • Ensure Compliance and Reporting: Verify all procurement and contract activities comply with relevant regulations and organisational policies, preparing detailed reports for senior management on procurement performance and outcomes.

Key Capabilities

  • Procurement Expertise: Deep understanding of procurement processes, policies, and compliance standards, with the ability to manage complex procurement activities from initiation to completion.
  • Contract Management Skills: Strong experience in managing the full contract lifecycle, including drafting, negotiating, and ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers, fostering collaboration and resolving issues effectively.
  • Risk Mitigation and Analysis: Skilled in identifying and mitigating procurement and contract risks, ensuring smooth operations and minimising disruptions to business activities.
  • Data Analysis and Decision-Making: Ability to analyse supplier data, market trends, and procurement performance to inform strategic decisions that drive cost efficiency and value for money.
