We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Specialist to join our team in Canberra. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with experience in contract management and procurement to work on complex contracts for support services and supplies, as well as software.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for managing ASDEFCON contracts, leading procurement activities, and developing request documents. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in materiel procurement and/or contract management, including identifying and managing commercial risks related to procurement and contract management.
Key Responsibilities- Manage ASDEFCON contracts for support services and supplies, and software
- Lead complex procurement activities
- Develop request documents
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Significant experience in materiel procurement and/or contract management
- Experience identifying and managing commercial risks related to procurement and contract management
- Strong understanding of probity requirements for Commonwealth procurement
- Experience in ASDEFCON suite of contracting templates or equivalent complex contracting documentation
This is a top-paid position with a salary range estimated to be over $100,000 per annum. A contract extension is also available.
