National Sales Development Specialist Role Overview

This is a fantastic opportunity for a sales professional to join our dynamic team as a National Sales Development Specialist. The role involves working closely with the sales team to develop and implement short- and long-term business plans, as well as supporting their weekly financial reporting routine.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in FMCG sales, category, marketing or relevant account management disciplines. They will possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing key weekly and monthly reporting routines for the sales team, including tracking Joint Business Plan (JBP) and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) targets. They will also support the build of effective promotional plans and execution, which forms part of the sales planning process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support sales team in developing and implementing business plans
  • Manage key reporting routines for the sales team
  • Leverage category data to generate sales opportunities
  • Support submission of sales forecasts and assumptions

About You:

  • Previous experience in FMCG sales or related fields
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • A can-do attitude and willingness to learn
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
