**Clinical Governance and Education Lead Role Overview**

This is a critical position that drives the design and implementation of clinical education programs and innovative practice initiatives to support high-quality, evidence-based care.

As Clinical Governance and Education Lead, you will lead, support, and educate staff on clinical topics, promote a culture of learning and development, and foster system-wide improvement while ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and best practice models.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the development and delivery of clinical education programs across three Sydney-based locations.
  • Collaborating with clinical leaders to identify and address clinical risks through education and training.
  • Supporting the L&D department to implement the clinical education strategic plan.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Advanced leadership skills and experience in clinical education.
  • Excellent clinical decision-making and critical thinking abilities.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Current registration with AHPRA.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or willing to obtain) or Diploma of Training Design and Development or Graduate Certificate in Clinical Education.
  • A minimum of 5 years post-graduate clinical experience within aged care and a minimum of 3 years' experience as a trainer/educator.
