Clinical Governance and Education Specialist

The opportunity to lead clinical governance and education initiatives has arisen within our organization.

Reporting to the Clinical Education Manager, this role involves driving the design and implementation of evidence-based clinical education programs.

Key responsibilities include leading staff on clinical topics, promoting a culture of learning and development, and addressing clinical risks by improving systems & processes through education and training.

  • Develop and implement clinical education programs across multiple locations.
  • Prepare and deliver clinical education programs for staff members.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to clinical leaders.
  • Collaborate with the Learning and Development department to implement strategic plans.

Requirements:

A minimum of 5 years post graduate clinical experience in aged care and 3 years' experience as a trainer/educator is required.

Ability to research literature and source relevant legislation, standards, and best practices is essential.

Solid experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel, is also necessary.

Demonstrate advanced practice expertise with the ability to work within an interdisciplinary team environment.

Have highly developed written and oral communication skills.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of clinical governance and education principles.
