Parts Counter Role Description

Max Motors Dealerships is seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Parts Counter Representative to join our growing team. As a key member of our sales and business development department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and support to our customers and technicians.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and assist customers at the parts counter in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Identify and source parts and accessories for customers using various resources and systems.
  • Provide accurate and timely price quotes to customers.
  • Process customer orders and payments accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain inventory levels by monitoring and ordering stock as necessary.
  • Effectively communicate with technicians and other departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of parts.
  • Assist in the organization and cleanliness of the parts department.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing and resolving any customer concerns or issues in a timely manner.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest products, promotions, and policies of the dealership.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a parts or automotive industry is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts and systems.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient computer skills and ability to learn new systems and software quickly.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and ability to work well with others.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
