Surface Water Expert

We are seeking a senior hydrologist/surface water engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with experience in flood modelling, surface water engineering and project management.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hydrologic and hydraulic modelling, particularly application of two-dimensional hydraulic modelling (TUFLOW), as well as experience in hydrological modelling and assessments.
Key Responsibilities:- Delivering surface water engineering projects to a broad range of clients across multiple sectors.
- Undertaking work that involves the application of hydrologic and hydraulic modelling software.
- Working alongside staff developing models and preparing quality reports for internal and external clients on time and within set budgets.
- Developing, facilitating and enhancing relationships between our internal and external clients and SLR team members.
- Appropriate Engineering tertiary qualification and relevant industry experience.
- Extensive experience in hydrologic and hydraulic modelling, particularly application of two-dimensional hydraulic modelling (TUFLOW).
- Experience in hydrological modelling and assessments (DRAINS, RORB, WBNM and XP RAFTS) and understanding of Australian Rainfall and Runoff and relevant guidelines and standards.
