About the Role

This position offers a unique opportunity to lead and deliver technical projects, providing expert advice on surface water/water issues, regulations, and best practices. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing medium to large-scale projects from proposal to completion, building strong client relationships and communication.

  • Provide technical leadership through the delivery of surface water projects, and support the growth and success of the surface water team, in collaboration with management.
  • Contribute to business development activities and the growth of a national surface water team.
  • Demonstrate and deliver on technically accurate data analysis and reporting.
  • Manage and deliver medium to large-scale projects from proposal to completion, building strong client relationships and communication.
  • Provide expert advice on surface water/water issues, regulations, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with clients, regulatory agencies, and other technical disciplines to develop innovative and tailored solutions.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a degree qualification in Engineering (Water) and minimum 8 years of experience in water/environmental consulting. Sound capabilities in managing water related projects are essential, as is strong leadership with a people focus.

Able to distil complex information and tasks to communicate effectively to a broad audience, the successful candidate will also possess strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications
