Senior - Associate Hydrologist/Surface Water Engineer – NSW

This role presents a unique opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute to innovative project solutions for our clients.

  • Delivering surface water engineering projects across multiple sectors.
  • Applying hydrologic and hydraulic modelling software to drive successful outcomes.
  • Collaborating with staff to develop models and reports for internal and external clients.
  • Building relationships between our team members and clients.
  • Contributing to winning proposals by developing methodologies and identifying the value proposition.
  • Providing expert advice and assistance on best practices.

The ideal candidate will possess relevant industry experience, including:

  • Engineering tertiary qualification and extensive industry experience.
  • Expertise in hydrologic and hydraulic modelling, particularly two-dimensional hydraulic modelling (TUFLOW).
  • Knowledge of hydrological modelling and assessments (DRAINS, RORB, WBNM and XP RAFTS) and Australian Rainfall and Runoff guidelines.
  • Understanding of associated areas of surface water engineering such as stormwater management and flood risk analysis.
  • Experience in assessing and designing water-related structures like dams and levees.
  • Knowledge or experience in MUSIC or GoldSim modelling is highly regarded.
  • Excellent communication skills, technical report writing and project management expertise.
  • A strong track record in client relationship building and excellent interpersonal skills.
