Key Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality surface water engineering projects that meet client expectations.
- Utilize hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software to provide valuable insights and solutions.
- Collaborate with team members to develop models and prepare reports for clients.
- Foster relationships between internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to winning proposals and develop methodologies for clients.
- Offer expert advice and assistance on best practices to clients and team members.
- An engineering tertiary qualification and relevant industry experience are essential.
- Extensive experience in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, particularly two-dimensional hydraulic modeling (TUFLOW), is highly desirable.
- Experience in hydrological modeling and assessments (DRAINS, RORB, WBNM, and XP RAFTS) and understanding of Australian Rainfall and Runoff guidelines are also required.
- A strong understanding of associated areas of surface water engineering, such as stormwater management, erosion control, and flood risk analysis, is necessary.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, technical report writing skills, and experience managing projects throughout their lifecycle. A strong track record in building and maintaining client relationships is also crucial.
