Job Description

The Role:

  • Ensure carriers adhere to all safety, chain of responsibility and operational requirements.
  • Implement daily optimized transportation planning, route modeling and scheduling for all inbound and outbound freight.
  • Process accurate paperwork for stock transfers, delivery dockets and supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate forklift operators to pick required stock from the yard and act as a backup when required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Experienced in dispatch, allocations or scheduling roles.
  • Familiarity with SAP or similar systems (advantageous).
  • A valid forklift license or willingness to obtain one.
  • A thorough understanding of chain of responsibility principles.
  • High accountability, timely delivery on commitments and ability to work in a fast-paced high-pressure environment.
