The role of a Security Officer can be performed in various sectors and roles. This Position Description outlines general duties and serves as a guide.
About the Role
- Conducting foot patrols to ensure safety and security;
- Escorting individuals around the site;
- Ensuring property is locked and unlocked as required;
- Directing and assisting individuals to navigate the site;
- Writing reports in response to incidents;
- Communicating effectively with stakeholders.
Requirements
- Current NT Security License and Driver's license;
- Certificate 2 and/or Certificate 3 in Security Operations;
- Physical stamina and ability to stand or walk for extended periods;
- Excellent observational and surveillance skills;
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
- Current First Aid Certificate.
