Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Architect to join our team at the Australian Security Intelligence Organisation (ASIO). As a key member of our Cyber Security Assurance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our ICT systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical security advice and guidance on the design and architecture of new and emerging systems.
  • Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability testing to identify potential security threats.
  • Develop and implement security controls and countermeasures to mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with technical specialists and stakeholders to ensure the secure design and implementation of ASIO's technology ecosystem.
  • Represent IT Security on relevant governance boards and ensure security outcomes are prioritised and delivered.
Requirements
  • Proven track record in cyber security engineering with a focus on secure system design and architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of information security governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience with cloud security, DevSecOps, and containerisation.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Relevant qualifications in cyber security or technical specialisations.
