We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable wine professional to join our team as a Fine Dining Wine Expert. This role requires a deep understanding of fine wines, particularly French wines, as well as the ability to provide exceptional customer service and recommendations.

About the Role:
  • Curate and manage an extensive wine list, ensuring that it is up-to-date and accurately reflects the latest trends and releases.
  • Provide expert wine recommendations to guests, taking into account their preferences and dietary requirements.
  • Work closely with the back-of-house team and management to create wine pairings that complement our menu offerings.
  • Manage wine inventory and supplier relations, ensuring that we have a consistent supply of high-quality wines.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and recommendations during service, consistently exceeding guest expectations.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in the wine industry, preferably in a fine dining environment.
  • Sommelier certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and guests.
  • Extensive knowledge of fine wines, particularly French wines.
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure and maintain a calm and professional demeanor in fast-paced environments.
