Residential Care Worker Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Care Worker to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to young people aged 12 to 17 who require out-of-home care.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Establishing positive relationships with young people and colleagues
  • Following tailored routines to meet individual needs
  • Transporting young people to and from school, programs, and appointments
  • Participating in activities and shared mealtimes
  • Implementing programs for growth and development
  • Completing summary notes
  • Maintaining a safe and homely environment

To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

You will also be required to meet specific qualifications and certifications, including a Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention or equivalent, and current Working with Children Check, First Aid Certificate, National Police Check, and valid driver's license.
