About our Residential Program:
We provide a safe and supportive environment for children and young people who require care and protection. Our team plays a vital role in responding to the emotional and functional needs of the young people, developing their personal skills, and meeting administrative requirements.
This is a part-time opportunity based in St Albans within our Emergency Response Homes Program. The position reports to the Team Leader.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention (or similar tertiary qualifications)
- A genuine interest in young people and their wellbeing
- Demonstrate empathy for young people in our care in an open-minded and non-judgmental manner
- Highly developed capacity for emotional self-regulation, including setting and maintaining consistent boundaries to provide safety, stability and consistency
