About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team at Aged Care Resumes. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to individuals with disabilities, including assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Assist with medication administration and monitoring, as required.
  • Support individuals with complex care needs, including those with challenging behaviors.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with individuals, their families, and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to a safe and healthy environment by adhering to infection control and manual handling procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Disability, or Individual Support, or equivalent.
  • First Aid, CPR, Manual Handling, and Medication Administration training or willingness to obtain.
  • Current Driver's License (mandatory).
  • NDIS Worker Screening check and Working with Children Check.
