Lead Financial Institutions Role

Job Overview

This is a senior position within our Financial Institutions team, focusing on analysing and managing a portfolio of non-bank financial institutions (NBFIs). As the lead, you will have a significant impact on customer and sector strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Originate and structure complex banking transactions, leveraging your expertise in credit writing and risk assessment.
  • Develop high-quality credit submissions, providing strategic insights that shape customer and sector strategies.
  • Collaborate with global teams, including Credit, Legal, Debt Products, and Financial Markets.
  • Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to a high-performing team culture.
Requirements
  • Strong experience in wholesale banking, particularly in credit writing and risk assessment, especially in the NBFI space.
  • Proven ability to structure and negotiate complex transactions, ideally with exposure to subscription finance and capital call facilities.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Confidence in building and managing relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients, including senior decision-makers.
  • A collaborative mindset and a passion for coaching and developing junior team members.
