We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in Central Queensland.

Job Title: Registered Nurse Operating Theatres

As a Registered Nurse in Operating Theatres, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the operating theatre setting. This includes working throughout the entire theatre suite, from pre-admission to post-anesthesia care units (PACU), anaesthetics, and scrub scout areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent patient care and support to patients undergoing surgery
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth patient flow

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a caring attitude, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:
  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • Recent Operating Theatre experience
  • Knowledge of ieMR and proficiency in using this system (desirable)
  • Previous experience working in Australia, QLD Health and/or Mackay HHS (desirable)
