Registered Nurse - Operating Theatres

We are seeking an individual with a strong skillset in multiple disciplines, able to work across various areas of the theatre.

Mandatory Requirements
  • Theatre experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Recent Operating Theatre experience
Desirable Skills
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems
  • Previous experience working in Australia and/or Queensland Health
Mandatory Competencies
  • Advanced Life Support (ALS)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Manual and patient handling techniques
  • Infection control practices
  • Management of aggressive behaviour
  • Mandatory reporting of suspected child abuse and neglect
  • Medication management according to QPHS Regulations
Additional Requirements
  • Integrated electronic medical record training
  • Online induction training
  • Any other training as required

Eligibility for AHPRA registration is required. We also require you to be eligible to work in Australia.
