Job Overview

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the pricing strategy for individual business written in Australia.

This role involves overseeing a team of actuaries and analysts who manage our retail-sold and direct-sold protection product treaties and pricing for new individual-sold reinsurance opportunities. You will collaborate with valuation and R&D teams to set analytics plans and influence policy liability calculations.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement pricing reinsurance terms
  • Contribute significantly to the success of the Business Unit
  • Liaise with various Teams (marketing, claims, underwriting, risk, and back-office teams)
  • Develop and motivate top talent
  • Support the oversight of innovative solutions
  • Build relationships with key client contacts
Qualifications & Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia (FIAA) or equivalent status
  • Over 10 years' experience in actuarial pricing or related functions
  • An excellent understanding of actuarial principles and processes
