Claims Resolution Specialist

A reputable insurance organization is seeking a meticulous and client-focused Property Claims Officer to manage property insurance claims from initiation to resolution.
This position involves handling a portfolio of residential and commercial property claims, ensuring seamless communication and efficient closure for clients.
Main Responsibilities:- Manage a diverse range of property claims, from lodging through to final settlement.
- Evaluate claim validity by reviewing policy terms, coverage, and supporting documentation.
- Collaborate with insurers, loss assessors, contractors, and restoration specialists to facilitate timely repairs and settlements.
- Provide regular updates and empathetic support to clients throughout the claims process.
- Negotiate liability, settlement terms, and recoveries as applicable.
- Maintain accurate records in the claims management system and adhere to internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Escalate complex or high-value claims to senior management as necessary.
- At least 2 years' experience in general insurance claims, preferably in property, home, or strata.
- Strong understanding of insurance policies, liability principles, and recoveries.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
