Delivering Exceptional Patient Care as a Surgical Nurse

The ideal candidate will have recent experience working in a general surgical ward environment or similar setting, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing safe and compassionate care to patients across a range of surgical specialties
  • Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care
  • Developing and maintaining effective relationships with colleagues, patients, and families

Requirements:

  • Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse, General with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Recent experience as a Registered Nurse in a general surgical ward environment or similar setting
  • Ability to provide safe, compassionate, and quality care that is culturally responsive in line with NSW Health CORE Values
