Surgical Veterinary Nursing Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled veterinary nurse to join our dynamic surgical team.

  • Must have completed a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and possess at least 3 years of nursing experience.
  • A strong passion for surgery is essential.
  • The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, honest and have high standards.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team is required.
Key Responsibilities
  • Patient treatments and care in the surgical department.
  • Monitoring and recovery of patients post-surgery.
  • Placement of IV catheters and fluid therapy administration.
  • Taking blood samples and using in-house laboratory equipment.
  • Cleaning and sterilizing surgical instruments and specialized equipment.
  • Providing specialist surgical and theatre nursing support.
  • Anaesthesia services.
  • Radiology, including CT and MRI imaging.

This role offers the opportunity to develop your skills in surgery and anaesthetics while contributing to exceptional patient care.

You will work closely with experienced surgeons and nurses, developing your expertise and contributing to delivering outstanding patient outcomes.
