Job Overview:

This role involves coordinating and administering health promotion programs within a community pillar. The successful candidate will work under specific objectives to deliver programs that promote healthy lifestyles and active engagement.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the delivery of health promotion programs in schools
  • Liaise with participating schools, reporting to partner schools and relevant stakeholders
  • Organize end-of-term or year celebrations and activities for health promotion programs
  • Deliver and administer holiday clinic programs in coordination with relevant teams
  • Coordinate all aspects of health promotion and holiday clinic programs, including bookings, coaching, marketing, safeguarding, equipment, reporting, and budget management
  • Review and update health promotion and holiday clinic programs throughout the year
  • Liaise with external and internal stakeholders to ensure delivery of health promotion initiatives under specified objectives

Key Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a similar role or placement
  • Tertiary qualification in sport, health promotion, or a related field
  • Current driver's license and valid Working with Children Check
  • Current Sports First Aid and CPR certification
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proven communication and stakeholder engagement skills
