Early Childhood Educator Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team. As an Advanced Educator, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality education and care to young children, supporting their learning outcomes in accordance with the National Quality Standards and learning framework.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, with experience in developing and implementing programs that reflect the approved learning framework. They will establish positive and respectful relationships with children, families, and the community, creating engaging play-based learning environments that cater to children's interests, strengths, and abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To develop and implement programs that promote children's learning and development, aligned with the National Quality Standards and learning framework.
  • To build strong relationships with children, families, and the community, promoting a culture of inclusivity and respect.
  • To design and deliver high-quality educational programs, incorporating a range of activities and resources to support children's learning and development.
  • To document children's learning through observations and assessments, using evidence to inform program planning and improvement.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Children's Services (minimum) or Bachelor of Early Childhood Teaching.
  • A proven work history demonstrating recording observations, writing learning stories, and supporting curriculum planning using the Early Years Learning Framework.
  • Understanding of the National Quality Framework and EYLF.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with colleagues, families, and community members.
