The Senior Digital Data Analytics Engineer plays a pivotal role in Medibank's Digital Platforms and Engineering team. This engineer designs and delivers digital data collection strategies, driving data-driven insights across core digital channels including public-facing websites and member portals.

This seasoned professional formulates a vision and achieves successful business outcomes through collaborative teamwork and responsible decision-making. Key responsibilities include acting as a subject matter expert on the digital data ecosystem, developing expertise and insights, and championing digital data integration.

Additionally, this engineer enables reusability, scalability, and efficiency in digital analytics implementation and tagging practice by adopting a generic data model and implementing standardised data layers. They provide guidance and support on third-party tag implementation, partner with marketing and media agencies, and conduct regular audits and data validation exercises.

This engineer develops digital measurement frameworks, utilises analytics and marketing platforms capabilities, activates insights, and communicates the Digital Analytics roadmap with stakeholders. They have strong knowledge of Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics, experience configuring data layers, and implementing tags on Adobe Launch and Google Tag Manager.

They are an effective communicator who can explain insights clearly, build and maintain horizontal and vertical networks, and have a demonstrated ability to work closely with cross-functional agile delivery teams.
