Preventing Domestic and Family Violence Specialist

The Family Violence Prevention Specialist is responsible for delivering a range of services to individuals, families and communities affected by domestic and family violence.
In this role, you will provide individual support to clients, focusing on safety planning, crisis intervention and behaviour change.
Key Responsibilities- Assess client needs and provide tailored case management services.
- Deliver group programs and facilitate community education initiatives to raise awareness about domestic and family violence.
- Provide information and resources to clients on topics such as protection orders, court processes and relevant legislation.
- Develop and implement training programs to build the capacity of local agencies and service providers.
- Build relationships with local stakeholders to enhance collaborative responses to domestic and family violence.
You are a highly motivated and skilled practitioner who shares our commitment to preventing and responding to domestic and family violence. With a strong grounding in social or behavioural sciences, you bring experience in working with vulnerable populations and a passion for creating safer futures.
