About This Role

The Cyber Security Specialist (GRC) is responsible for overseeing and enhancing customers' security governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks. This role ensures adherence to defense security regulatory requirements, develops security policies aligned with business objectives, conducts regular risk assessments, and implements controls to protect customers' digital assets.

  • Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and frameworks in accordance with regulatory mandates.
  • Perform periodic security audits.
  • Identify cyber security risks and implement security measures.
  • Vulnerability Management and Threat Detection.
  • Security Event Log Monitoring.
  • Develop and maintain Cyber Security Assessment and Authorization documentation suites.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of security controls.

Candidate Responsibilities:

  • Oversight and enhancement of customers' security governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
  • Ensure adherence to defense security regulatory requirements.
  • Develop security policies that align with business objectives.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and implement controls to safeguard customers' digital assets.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security or Information Technology or related experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in Cyber Security Risk Management, Policy Development, or Governance.
  • Strong knowledge of security audit processes, documentation development, vulnerability management, and security event monitoring.
  • Industry certifications such as CISA, ISO Lead Implementer/Auditor or similar are desirable.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
