YOUR NEW ROLE
In this essential hands-on leadership position, you will report directly to the Head of Operations and oversee a team of three within the vital Patent Docketing department. This division is responsible for managing the input, modifications, and upkeep of client and case records, as well as ownership transfers of patents and designs in Australia and New Zealand.

You will embrace the challenges and rewards:

  • Supervising the Patent Docketing inbox;
  • Addressing client inquiries regarding cost estimates;
  • Allocating tasks and resources while monitoring team performance to ensure the effective operation of the docketing function;
  • Training and mentoring new staff, as well as managing team grievances;
  • Resolving any operational or system-related issues;
  • Producing relevant reports for internal patent professionals;
  • Filing and reporting on patent/design ownership changes and providing confirmation documents to clients and associates;
  • Handling any additional projects as needed.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Possess a minimum of 4 years of experience in intellectual property, specifically in patents (more experienced candidates are encouraged to apply);
