
Healthcare Nutrition Support Specialist

The Nutrition Support Assistant will collaborate with a qualified dietitian to execute clinical and non-clinical tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing and monitoring nutrition care plans under the supervision of a registered dietitian.
- Ensure patients have access to food and fluids as per their therapeutic diets.
About You
To succeed in this position, you should possess:
- A Certificate III in Nutrition & Dietary Practices or equivalent qualification, OR a Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance (Nutrition & Dietetics), OR a nutrition undergraduate degree.
- Previous experience as a dietitian assistant or hospital healthcare worker.
- Demonstrate knowledge and commitment to delivering safe and effective nutrition support.
- Exemplify excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary nutrition care team.
