Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Dietitian to join our multidisciplinary team in providing safe, effective, and efficient nutrition care to patients and their caregivers. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality nutrition services across oncology outpatient services and/or hospital wards.

The ideal candidate will have experience working as a clinical dietitian, with strong knowledge of nutrition care principles and practices. They will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

This is a fixed-term, part-time position (0.2FTE) with the possibility of additional hours to provide leave cover. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of nutrition care plans, implement and monitor nutrition interventions, and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and patients.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) status according to criteria set by the Dietetics Association of Australia (DAA)
  • Demonstrated experience applying nutrition support across a range of clinical areas
  • Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated skill to work independently and function effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
