Job Title

The Dietitian Assistant will work under the supervision of a dietitian to perform clinical and non-clinical duties.

This role involves supporting the nutrition care team in the provision of a safe, effective, and efficient nutrition care service to inpatients.

  • Assist the clinical dietitian with implementation and monitoring of prescribed nutrition care plans.
  • Apply clinical nutrition / therapeutic diet protocols as delegated by the supervising dietitian
  • Facilitates access to food and fluids for patients on therapeutic diets
About You
  • Prior experience working in healthcare settings is required for this position. Ideally, candidates should have a Certificate III in Nutrition & Dietary Practices or equivalent qualification.
  • Candidates are expected to be proactive and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrates ability to work effectively within a team environment and adhere to established policies and procedures.
  • Ability to learn and develop new skills in order to meet the changing needs of the organisation.
